Svarga Story

Svarga begins with the journey of our Founder, Mrs. Ellen Kurniawan Lie, who questioned the real meaning of happiness.

Svarga was born with the view that a healthy body is the foundation of the true happiness. Svarga was established in 2005 as the first Pilates studio in Bandung, Indonesia.

Today, Svarga has evolved to be the only wellness centre in Indonesia with the basis of movement (exercise). We specialized in movement as therapy and we believe in healing through movement.

Svarga Philosophy

The name “Svarga” is taken from a Sanksrit word, meaning “heaven”. We envision a “heaven on earth” that can create a joyful and peaceful place for the body, mind, and spirit. Svarga is not just a yoga – pilates studio, Svarga is a place to heal the body and mind holistically by moving and breathing in the correct manner.
